Built in May 2009, the Erik Hite Family Park, located on the campus of Saguaro Canyon Church, is open to the public during daylight hours. The park was built in honor of and is dedicated to the memory of Officer Erik Hite who was slain in the line of duty in June of 2008. Officer Hite served his community and the Lord as a faithful member of Saguaro Canyon Church.  The park is a lasting memorial of his love for church, family and the community.  For the children of our community a play area, complete with shade sails, is available as well as swings and a sand pit. You are invited to  enjoy a picnic on the grassy knoll or take in the breathtaking views from the rotunda.  During your visit, take a moment to view the Memorial Brick Walk.
